Okay, I see it. Cora is looking particularly squished in this photo.
So yesterday was Grandparents Day, which I obviously already knew and was totally on top of, ahem.
But really, in our family we like to celebrate birthdays and such for the whole month, so maybe that's what I had in mind all along for Grandparents Day, guys. You don't know.
Jaron and I can't find enough appreciative and loving words to say about our kids' grandparents. Really. They hit the jackpot. A very Happy Grandparents Day (Month) to Nana, Papi, 9E, and LV!! Weloveyourgrandparentingguts!!
Oh, and don't for one second think we forgot about our grandparents. Because before E and C hit the jackpot, J and G did. (See what I did there??)
We love you too, Grandman and Liz AND Grandma and Richard (and of course our grandparents that are no longer with us)!!
Photos (from top to bottom): First cousin photo with Cora. This was on my mom's birthday, when she was only 8 days old... Cora, not my mom. * Nana and Cora when she was 1 day old * Papi and Emmitt, July 2013 * 9E and Cora on Labor Day, almost 3 months old * LV and Emmitt, 11 months old * In August, we went to visit my Grandman, and he got a chance to meet Cora, his very first great granddaughter. As you can see, they were pretty impressed with each other. * This is when Emmitt met his great Grandma, at his first wedding reception, when he was only about 6 weeks old. Love how they're just gazing at each other, taking everything in.
